Centro Stars In Celebrity Apprentice

Last night was the premier of the latest installment of “Celebrity Apprentice” and the Palm Centro was quite the start of the show. Several of the celebrities could be seen using the Palm Centro as the teams fought to complete the task of raising the most money selling cupcakes. Joan Rivers, Herschel Walker, Brande Roderick and Annie Duke were among the celebrities using the Centro. It’s in reruns on CNBC or can be seen on NBC.com.

Palm has announced the release of the Palm Centro on Bell Mobility in Canada. The Palm Centro comes in a soft-touch Midnight Black with 128MB of available memory, Facebook for Palm and Google Maps with the My Location feature.

Palm Centro Software Update for Verizon Released

Palm has released a software update for the Verizon Palm Centro. Software update 1.03 is a “minor tune-up that may improve device usability in certain situations.”

To see if you need this update, press Phone > Menu > Options > Phone Info. If your software version number is less than 1.03,  you can install this update.

Palm Centro for Sprint To Get Two New Colors

Palm today announced the forthcoming release of two new colors for the Palm Centro on on Sprint Wireless. Available starting on October 19th, the Palm Centro  will be available in both Olive and Vibrant Rose. These colors will be in addition to Onyx Black. Pink and Red are no longer available. The new Palm Centro will feature double the storage (128MB user storage up from 64MB) and include both Facebook and Google Maps.

The release date is for select retail locations. Starting on November 2nd, the Palm Centro in Olive and Vibrant Rose will be available in Sprint Stores, consumer and business channels and online at www.sprint.com/centro.
