Sprint has a new television commercial for the Palm Centro that targets a younger demographic. Less talk of business and a greater focus on using a smartphone to manage your life.
Personally, I enjoyed the "crazy" guy from the first commercial, but this ad speaks more to the core demographic that Sprint is trying to reach with the Centro. It's also a good opportunity to display the various colors available on Sprint.
It appears that Verizon will join the fray and release the Palm Centro on Verizon in the coming weeks. There has yet to be an official announcement or release date, but photos of the Verizon Palm Centro cropped up this morning all but confirming the release.
Officially it's called the Palm Silver Heart, but unofficially it's "bling" for the Palm Centro.
The Palm Silver Heart attaches to the Centro useing a black nylon loop. It retails for $6.95 and it's the first Centro accessory that might necessitate a new category in our Centro Accessory Store. Palm has also released a new leather lanyard. The black and leather strap features Silver hearts and circle studs.
