Default Any cases with corner protection?

I don't really understand why so many cases leave the corners exposed. All the phones I've ever had get damaged, are usually damaged by hitting the corners.

I had a Moto Q until it was stolen last week. I used this case with it:

Anything like that for the Centro? I want something with corner protection, where I can easily remove the phone from the pouch to use and have a sturdy (eg, metal) clip.

Your best bet would be a holster case llke you had for your Moto Q if you want full protection. A "crystal" hard case would be another solution. I just picked up my Centro on Saturday, and I ordered a Krusell "Cabriolet" leather case for it. I've been very happy with all the Krusell cases I've owned in the past. When it shows up, I'll let you know how it works and maybe post some pics.

Is this what you got?
http://store.everythingtreo.com/cont.../4-20--407.htm

All four corners are exposed. I'm not a big fan of the monster clip for it. I also don't really like how everything is exposed on it. Covertec said they'll have a case like I had for the Q, but not until April.

Yesterday I ordered this case: http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=12655

It looks like it will cover the corners a bit better. After days of searching that was the best I could find (that wasn't $50.)

Similar, but for the Centro:

Yes, all 4 corners are exposed. The clip is a bit large, but it's very high quality and won't pop off unexpectedly. I bought the Krusell for my wife's Q, and she loves it, we'll see how good the Centro one is. Let me know how you like the holster.

What kind of frame are your Mavics holding up?

Finally got that case. Turns out it's WAY too thick for the centro. It flops around inside... it's meant for a full PDA phone. I think it was wrong of them to advertise it as working with the centro. If I wanted a full size PDA phone, that's what I would have bought.

Well, I got the Krusell. In standard Krusell fashion, it's a very well made case. Problem is, there's a soft plastic cover over the screen, thus making the touchscreen pointless. I bought a phone with a touchscreen so I could use it, and it's a PITA to take the phone out of the very tightly fitting case to use the touchscreen.

I decided to order the Cellet "Noble". A very nice leather case that is made for the Centro. Comes with both low-profile and swivel clips. Along the same lines of higher-end quality like Krusell. I highly recommend this one if you are looking for a flip-open pouch-style case. Link:

Anyone need a Krusell Cabriolet case for their Centro? PM me.

MAVIC - props on the cromo Bianchi. Is is traditional Celeste green? I miss my handbuilt steel frames, but once I rode (a good) carbon, I was sold. I just wish I would have kept at least one of my Italian beauties. I swear the stiff Italian steel was faster on smooth pavement, though! The only real old-school bike that I have now is my old Motobecane Grand Jubilee.

That's for the feedback on that case. I never saw anything about covering the screen. I've gotta start searching again...

Let me know how the one off ebay works. The problem with the one I had was that it was too thick. No point in having a small phone if the case is huge.

My bike isn't celeste... it's "marin dumpster orange." It's a mountain bike.

I was looking at a couple cases on this site but the pictures are good enough to tell if it's a good fit or not. So several days I emailed the sales@ address about it and haven't received a response.

I've googled a ton, so I have found some other places to buy. Does anyone here have any recommendations on where to buy a centro case?
