|  IM and Verizon My kid just got a Centro. We have Verizon service,and apparently Sprint service comes with IM programs and capabilities, while Verizon service does not. Verizon told us we would have to pick up internet service and find an IM program to use IM service- it's the but Verizon's monthly internet service plan that I don't like here. Anyone know if this is true? Thanks! |

| Yes it is true. In the absence of WiFi, the only way to IM is to have broadband/internet access which requires a data plan. I've only seen 1 IM program for PalmOS on Verizon phones. You'll have to do a Google search because I don't remember its name. thorne |
