Migration from Palm T3 to Centro

I'm a current T3 user who is trying to decide between the Centro and the iPhone. I won't go into all the problems with making the iPhone actually useful so for now the Centro is in the lead. However, I do want to automatically move all my standard Palm data (contacts, over 500; memos, over 1,500) to the Centro.

I assume (perhaps hope is a better word) that I can just sync from the desktop to the phone and that everything will be moved over. I've upgraded other Palm PDAs and it was painless. Is this true for the Centro?

I also hope my existing apps will work too: SplashID, BackupMan, Oxford Dictionary and FindHack. Any comments?

I went from the Palm Z22 to a Centro. I installed the Centro Palm software over the old Palm software and it remembered all the stuff I had. When I synced with my Centro it moved everything over along with any registration codes attached to any apps I had. Very smooth transition.
