Favorite Sprint No Longer Offering Email

I logged into my Sprint account to check out the new feature they added. Did you know that Sprint now offers Call Tones? Thats their way of saying Ring Back Tones. I saw the option for adding a free call tone to my plan so I decided to try it to see what it was. Turns out that is what it is. Also, there was a message posted on my account page that Sprint is dicontinuing their email service.

Sprint PCS Mail will be discontinued on December 31, 2008.

From what I read they are still going to offer the software but not the email accounts. I dont use the Sprint email address they offer anyways. I have a Gmail account and i always use it for everything.

Also i read somewhere that Sprint now offers free incoming calls. But I cant find anything about that on the plan packages they have on their website. Does anyone know anything about this?

Do you know if it is possible to remove the "mobile email" "application" from the home page? I don't use it ever either and I think it's just one more icon on my page when I look through it...

Yes you can remove any of the apps you want. Just right click on the app you want to delete...then browse the list of apps you want to delete and select it from the list ..then choose the delete option. Easy as that.
