Exclamation Centro & "Loose" Hotsync Cable

I am new to the forum and recently purchased a Centro (around 30 days ago).

I have been spending a lot of time traveling and while away from home have been using the Hotsync cable to charge my phone at night.

When I first got the phone the connection was very very tight but in the last week I found that my phone had not charged overnight because the right clip is not actually "clipping" into the phone securely. I've inspected the "hole" in the phone and tried a second hotsync cable with the same results. It all looks right but simply doesn't clip into place.

I expected the fit to loosen up over time but am wondering if this is a known issue with the Centros or if my particular phone had some variance in that area that is making it more difficult for the right clip to do it's thing in this phone.

Thanks,
John

I have found a similar problem. On mine, the left side clips in OK, but when I try to clip in the right side, the left clip pops out of it's hole. I discovered that if I use an old hotsync cable (off my Tungsten E2) it was fine. I think the hotsync cable supplied with my Centro (and possibly yours) has been manufactured slighly "off spec". When I compare the two plugs the differences though subtle are obvious. I suggest you see if you can get another cable from an older model to try.
