centro locking up / slow?

my centro is about a year old now. recently, it started having this strange problem where after it sits a while, it pretty much freezes for about 30 seconds and then becomes active again, working normal. it will make calls and work just fine.

i've been having some problems because i am missing calls and when i touch the screen, after about 30 seconds, the screen updates and tells me i have a new voice mail.

i did notice that most of the time it wakes back up, it says it is logging into sprint vision services.

the ironic part - my alarm still works just fine.

any clue? I've tried soft resets and even a hard reset already.
