No big deal, really. As it's likely in ROM, it doesn't take away any memory space you could use; in such cases you can always create a category like ZZhidden in Palm's launcher and move offending ROM apps there so that at least you don't always see them.

... or of course, you could buy a better (3rd party) launcher like LauncherX or ZLauncher, which will enable you to hide unwanted programs completely.

Regards,

Jochen

...come to think of it, you might look whether it IS in ROM.

Download some file manager, like the Freeware app "Filez" or the trial version of the powerful "Resco Explorer", and take a look - maybe the little beastie simply has tags like ReadOnly and Protected set. If so, both programs should be able to find and delete it.
(Can't check on it myself, as on my unlocked European Centro this program doesn't exist.)

Default see only what you wanna see

Here's a lovely little utility that allow those items I don't want to see to disappear without using a launcher program. It becomes "Applications" under the Personal section of Preferences. I love it because I tend to be an icon minimalist, but you can still get to the program if you change your mind.

It's in ROM, so can't be deleted. If you click on it, it'll download a program called Nuance, which will cost you $6 a month if you like it.
