My First PDA Phone
|
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful
This is my first PDA phone and I will never go back. The phone does everything and just for $99. I do have 2 small problems. 1 the key pad is small but it works. 2. I started having problem with getting my emails when using Sprint Mobile. Other than that the phone is great. |

Nice phone, needs to be a little bigger. Navigating the menus is a little hard to get used to, even if you've been using a Palm PDA for years like I have. I'm used to using a stylus and Palm writting exclusively. I've only had it several days. I can see where I'll love it in about a month! |

Ditched my Q9h for the Centro

Phone PROS: Easy to use, BIG touchscreen numbers, great contact list, loud speakerphone. Phone CONS: Earpiece could be a little louder, signal strength seems kinda weak. Usability PROS: Great when you sync with Outlook for Windows XP, touchscreen helps, hidden menu maximized screen space, ergonomic UI. Usability CONS: Minor quirks here and there. Some of the pics I took with the camera won't attach to MMS regardless of size (even after a hard reset), Blazer. Features PROS: THREADED TEXT!!! Features CONS: No Bluetooth 2.0, slow to transfer files, stylus input too approximate and not accurate. Design PROS: Great in terms of size, weight, and very visually attractive. Design CONS: Keyboard a little stiff at first, buttons might be too small for some, screen is too recessed and likes to collect lint at the edges (edges aren't part of the active screen, which is a good thing, keeps lint from blocking your view). Software Bundle PROS: Documents To Go ROCKS!!! VersaMail is easy with attachments when you receive email, Voice Dial app is very useful, IM app is very familiar and useable. Software Bundle CONS: Some At&t stuff is useless with an EDGE device (XM, MobiTV), Blazer is painfully slow at times (though capable), needs a file explorer app that can browse through all file trees from the device including microSD card. Value: Hands-down a great value. It can do most of what my Q9h does, minus the 3g & GPS. Threaded text is amazing and a rare app that's native to this device (aftermarket threaded text apps aren't as seamless). Doesn't really need an OS upgrade IMHO, just needs a better browser. |

Best convergence device yet!

This is the best phone/pda yet since my Treo 650, 700p & 755p MOSTLY due to the smaller, pocketable size. Though tempted by the next iPhone because of internet useability & screen size (ok, there is some WOW factor in there too)I will not jump ship. This is a great phone! |
