Overall a pleasure to use

I am a long-time former Treo user--and I most recently owned the blue 755p. Despite some people complaining about the size of the Treos, I like having a larger phone--I have big hands and I'd break any flip phone that was not ruggedized. I was also initially put off by the Centro's keyboard--but I tried it for about 20 minutes at a Sprint store, and I was really impressed how accurate I was...the learning curve really isn't that bad if you give it a chance. Also, I was attracted to the fact that in Jan, Palm released a VersaMail update for the Centro only, that allows Gmail to work properly--I'm big on email and texting, and I never got Gmail to work right on the 755p. Also it includes pTunes Deluxe, which would cost money to get Deluxe on the Treo. I'm also spoiled by a touch screen, so it's a must for me now. When I use my g/f's BlackJack I find myself tapping the non-touchscreen...oops. Habit. I like the form factor a bunch. The phone is nice and loud, like I've come to expect from Palm's products. A huge plus. Finally, the form factor is okay...which it had a grippy back, rather than the slippery plastic...it's only a matter of time before it takes a tumble...but I'm buying a screen protector just in case.

This one does it all--and has some amazing features...so I'm happy going from a Treo to a Centro.
